BAMS

Our Ankerite Ayurvedic Medical College & Hospital offers the course of BAMS.BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. BAMS is an undergraduate degree programme designed to make students familiar with the concepts of Ayurveda and use them for the treatment of patients. BAMS incorporates Ayurveda with the ideas of modern medicines, and students are taught a combination of both as part of the course curriculum.

Admission to B.A.M.S. Course for is made by the merit list and counselling process of the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET).

Course and Examinations

Syllabus and all the guide lines of teachings for BAMS course according to the norms of central Council that is”CCIM” will be followed. Examinations will be conducted by University of Lucknow.

EXAMINATION RULES

1. A candidates who Secures 50% or above marks but below 60% will be declared passed. The candidate securing 60% or above marks will be declared passed in first division & candidate who secures 75% or above marks in a subject will be declared to have passed with distinction in that subject.
2. The minimum number of marks required to pass the examination shall be 50% in the each subject including internal assessment for the written examination & 50% in each subjects including internal assessment for the practice examination.

CRITERIA FOR INTERNAL ASSESSMENTS WORK
The following factors may be taken into consideration for determining class work in the subject:

  1. Regularity in attendance
  2. Periodical test/House test.
  3. Laboratory record, note book & clinical history sheets as required.

B.PHARMA-

B.Pharm. is an undergraduate four years course (approved by PCI) which is a pre-requisite for registration to practice as a pharmacist. It imparts skills to work in industry, clinical set ups, drug control organizations, education and research sectors in pharmaceuticals.

It is a 4 year course and approved by AICTE & PCI new delhi and affiliated by BTE & AKTU Lucknow

Eligibility criteria for admission to B. Pharma-

  • The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to B. Pharm First year is passed intermediate examination with Physics & Chemistry (as a compulsory subject) along with Mathematics/Biology(PCB or PCM) through UPSEE.
  • For admission to first year of B. Pharm, candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given above and securing minimum 45% marks (40% marks for SC/ST Category candidates)in aggregate in required three subjects.

D.PHARMA-

Diploma in Pharmacy is a 2 years long career-oriented, diploma course. Students who wish to pursue a long term career in the medical field of pharmaceutical sciences, starting in entry-level positions are suitable for this course.

This program is designed to prepare candidates to work under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist in hospitals, community pharmacies, and other pharmaceutical-related fields. Candidates can also pursue MBA Pharmaceutical Management after this course, though they would need to complete their bachelors first.

It is a 2 year course and approved by AICTE & PCI new delhi and affiliated by BTE & AKTU Lucknow

Eligibility criteria for admission to D. Pharma-

  • The subject combination required in the qualifying examination (intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent) for admission to D. Pharm 1st year is passed intermediate examination (10+2) with Physic and Chemistry as compulsory subject along with Math / Biology(Zoology and Botany) through JEECUP.
  • For admission to first year of D. Pharm, candidate must have clearly passed intermediate examination of U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University in each compulsory subjects and one optional subject as given above and securing minimum 50% marks for unreserved / OBC and 45% marks for SC/ST Category candidates.

B.SC. NURSING –

Basic B.Sc. Nursing is a graduate level 4 year professional course. To pursue B.Sc. nursing the candidates should have minimum eligibility criteria, having completed 10+2 with physics, chemistry, and biology as mandatory subjects. B.Sc. nursing is a complete package for training of specialists in the field of nursing.

Course duration

The duration of B.Sc. Nursing degree course shall be 4 years. B.Sc. nursing Course are recognized by Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, affiliated to Atal Bihari Vajpayee Medical University.

  • The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December of the year in which admission is sought.
  • The maximum age for admission shall be 35 years.
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of 12 years of schooling (10+2 year course) recognized by CBSE/ICSE/SSSCE/HSCE or a recognized equivalent examination and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
  • Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by Central Government having science subjects and English only.

  • 10+2 with English and must have obtained a minimum of 40% at the qualifying examination and English individually from any recognized board.
  • Candidates are also eligible from state open school recognized by state government and national institute of open school (NOIS) Recognized by central government. However science is preferable.
  • 10+2 With English having 40% of marks in vocational ANM course from the school recognized by Indian nursing Council.
  • 10+2 with English having 40% of marks in vocational stream-health care science from a recognized CBSE board/state/centre.

For foreign Nationals

The entry qualification equivalency i.e. 12th standard will be obtained by Association of India Universities, New Delhi, Institution, State nursing council will be responsible to ensure that the qualification and eligibility will be equivalent to what has been prescribed as above.

Reservation

  • For disabled candidates 3% disability reservation to be considered with a disability of locomotor to the tune of 40% to 50% of the lower extremity and other eligibility criteria with regard to age of qualification will be same as prescribed for each nursing programme.
  • 5% of total marks is relaxed for SC/ST candidates.
  • Any other reservation as per the State Govt.

Diploma in Operation Theatre Technician program is all about an innovative and career-oriented course. Operation Theatre Technician course is the basic program that deals with the ethics, arrangements of the operation theatre, and managing the pieces of equipment that are necessary while performing surgery. ITI-

What are ITI Courses?

I.T.I. Courses are the courses that are meant for training a student in the technical and non-technical fields. The I.T.I. admission provides earning opportunities right after class 10th or 12th. These courses are vocational training courses that exclusively impart essential skills for getting a job after class 10th or 12th. The Industrial Training Institutes provide vocational training courses to students so that they are able to secure a job when the course ends.

The objective of these courses is to help the students to start a small scale business along with helping them to get jobs in the Private and Government sectors. The courses that the ITIs offer are called “Trades” which focus on specific skillsets as per the requirement of the industry. These courses can range anywhere between being six months to two years long. The length of course duration depends on what kind of course it is and its nature.

ITI Course Information: ITI Eligibility Criteria
